lemme tell you something amusing - i heard myself snoring yesterday.  it happened while i was struggling to take an afternoon nap and i guess i was in the half-nap mode when i heard it! of course it was me, no doubts. was kinda funny and i forgot about my nap and starting laughing at it.

i'm off to a trip to San Antonio tomorrow so see you guys on Sunday!

so what have i been up to the past few days? alright, don't expect anything great - it's the usual. i brought another set of books from the library and i dunno how much time i'd take to read Les Miserables! i know i'm not gonna read anything on this long weekend.

oh btw, it was our first Engagement Anniversary on 23rd Nov! we dined in Chinese Bistro, and , as usual, i was more excited about the fortune cookie. it told me this - "You are a lover of words. Someday you should write a book." now THAT is some good inspiration, you see!

Dusvidaniyan is a great movie. I've already watched it twice! For those who can't watch it, it's a movie about a common man who, one day, discovers that he has cancer and has just 3 months to live. He then realizes that there are so many things that he wanted to do but couldn't do cuz' he's always busy with work and home. He creates a "Things to do before I die" list and successfully completes it before he dies. His list was simple, yet so thoughtful! It was mostly the innocence and the simplicity of Vinay Pathak that kept me hooked on to it. I pondered about the kind of wishes a common man has. I wondered if we ever think of fulfilling all our wishes before we die, without knowing when we're gonna die.

felt like a NULL ever? it's funny! feels as if you are good for nothing, don't know anything, and can't do anything. no no no, i'm not in bad spirits and bad mood at all!! i'm perfectly good.

last week, we organized a baby shower for one of our friends! the whole thing, including organizing the party, decorating her place, and actually attending the party was absolute fun! i don't remember when last i decorated my place (or anyone else's place) with balloons and all... something like a b'day party decoration. now I do! and thank God, nitin managed to save the life of my newly-tried recipe "aaloo achari"!! i was afraid that i'd ruined it but then the wok was the culprit!

one question that really bothers me these days is "how do you spend your day?" i'm kinda tired of telling everyone that i cook, read, write, and meet my new friends! at times, i feel that this question makes fun of me! ok, it's just a feeling. it actually doesn't. and no no no, i don't wanna pursue an MBA. it's not my cuppa tea ppl! i only wanna enhance my creative writing skills in this free time and maybe, learn a new language. how about French?

yesterday, an angel told me that i shouldn't shout when i'm arguing with a dear one. the louder i talk, the farther my heart goes from that person's. the thought itself had me scared!

anger and ego are such bad things - they ruin the heart. and the mind is such a devil - if not controlled, it can ruin you along with everyone else around you. 

i'm back to feeling sleepy all the time. excess of sleep is bad - it just makes you wanna sleep more.
